Maesteg Welfare Park

Maesteg Welfare Park is an 8Ha park, developed for the families of local miners in the 1930’s. Latterly a friends group has developed around the park and seeks to improve the biodiversity of the space through the Eco Llynfi project.

Bridgend County Borough Council have received funding to improve access and circulation around the park. The alignment of paths, to highlight biodiversity and access new areas of land, is at outline design site.
